Since our client had some antique pieces from his previous home, but also appreciated contemporary design, we created an eclectic motif that is timeless. I must say that of all of the residential design I have done, this is probably my favorite. Note the spiral staircase. We built a small library loft above the Entry. Note the
v-groove white paneling on the walls and the hand hewn posts that support the loft.

On the brown wall behind the sofa, we have a horizontal chair rail and matching vertical moldings to emphasize the fantastic height of the room. Note how well the contemporary, polished chrome accent pieces coordinate with the traditional furniture. The parquet flooring is just beautiful.

These clients wanted a formal, Mediterranean, home for their family. These photos show the major rooms but we also did every room in the home. In this Living Room, we designed custom cabinets for the stereo equipment and the floor-to-ceiling bookcase. The tapestry on the walls is the same fabric that is on the two chairs. The mirror in the photo is reflecting the Dining Room.

The Dining Room carpet has a custom decorative border. The chandelier is particularly outstanding.

For the Family Room, we wanted to take a departure from the Mediterranean theme and create a comfortable facsimile of a western saloon. We designed a full size working bar with antique artifacts, i.e. the Victorian corbels, mirrors, wine rack, wall clock, old pictures, etc. We paneled the walls in tongue and groove, stained, knotty pine. In the corner opposite the bar, is a table and four chairs for games or some good old fashion poker. I particularly like the wagon wheel hub lamp. Yahoo!
