Pacific Gateway II,
Los Angeles Remodel -

We designed all of the public spaces for this nine-story office tower. This involved the Main Lobby on the first floor and the Elevator Lobbies and Bathrooms on each of the other floors. This also entailed new design for the four Elevator Cabs and their doors.

As seen in this photo, we judiciously utilized an “X” motif throughout the Main Lobby. What a transformation from the drab, lifeless, former interior!

Note the unique sculpture in the Elevator Lobby. We utilized a great artist for this piece and another, circular piece on the wall of the Entry Lobby.

We clad the Elevator Doors in a combination of polished and brushed stainless steel.

In the Main Lobby we have a new flamed granite floor with keystone accents in polished granite. We designed the granite guard station, which included the back-lit building directory. Note the new ceiling/soffit design. The ceiling tiles are a polished metal.

These custom glass doors, with our “X” design motif, are the entry to the Metrobank offices on the first floor.

We designed this small office which consisted of an Entry Lobby, Conference Room and Bathroom. We designed this custom reception desk which has a granite work surface that matches the granite flooring. Note that the shape of the lighting soffit, above the desk, mirrors the shape of the desk.

Los Angeles Office -

We designed custom workstations to accommodate 114 persons for this new project. The design direction for this project was to exhibit a plain, industrial environment with polished, concrete floors and an open, exposed ceiling. The client saved thousands of dollars by “going basic”.

In keeping with the theme and the budget, we designed the lowest price point workstation in history! The panels were plain, stained, medium density fiberboard (MDF) and the work surfaces were plastic laminate. The files and drawer pedestals were independent and rolled on casters for easy re-location.
